How it works

Three steps. No engine knowledge needed.

  1. Bring your games

Connect your Lichess account or upload a PGN file.

  2. See what happened

Every move is checked and explained in plain words.

  3. Practise what matters

Train on positions taken from your own mistakes.

Every move gets a verdict

Simple labels show at a glance how good each move was.

  • Brilliant

    A clever sacrifice that works.

  • Strong move

The only good move in a tricky spot.

  • Best move

Exactly the move the engine prefers.

  • Very good

Nearly as good as the best move.

  • Good

A solid move that keeps things steady.

  • Opening theory

    A well-known opening move.

  • Inaccuracy

A small slip: there was something better.

  • Mistake

Gives away a real part of your chances.

  • Missed chance

Your opponent slipped and you didn't punish it.

  • Blunder

A move that can lose the game or throw away a win.

Everything you need to improve

One place to understand your games and practise what they teach you.

Game summary

See exactly where the game turned

Every move gets a clear verdict. When a move went wrong, an arrow shows the better one and a short note says why it mattered.

  • A graph of who was winning, move by move
  • Turning points to jump straight to where the game changed
  • Accuracy for both players and the name of your opening
Example game

Human insight

Know what players at your level play

The engine knows the best move, but people often don't find it. A model learned from real games shows which moves players of your rating usually choose.

  • Spot the traps people at your level fall into
  • See when the best move is genuinely hard to find
  • Shown beside the engine, never mixed with it

Your patterns

Find the mistakes you keep repeating

After three analysed games the coach shows which kinds of mistakes cost you the most, like leaving pieces undefended or missing forks.

  • Ranked by how much they cost you
  • Honest about how sure it is, with ranges instead of guesses
  • One click to start practising a pattern
Example

Training

Practise on positions from your own games

Your mistakes become exercises. Find the move you missed, with hints when you need them: first the idea, then the piece, then the kind of move.

  • A weekly plan that fits the minutes you have
  • Positions come back for review, sooner if you miss them
  • Fresh checks on new positions show what really stuck
Example

AI coach

Ask anything about your game

Ask why a move was bad or what the plan should have been. The coach sees the whole game, and every move and number it mentions is checked with the engine before you see it.

  • Answers in plain language
  • Points to the exact moves it talks about
  • Used only if you allow it; otherwise a simple offline coach answers
Example

Practice games

Play a human-like opponent

Play on from a position against an opponent that moves like a real player at the level you choose, not like a cold engine. You can even practise against one that plays in your own style.

  • Practise the positions you reach in your games
  • Choose how strong the opponent is
  • Part of the Advanced plan

Progress

See whether training is working

Progress is measured on fresh positions you haven't seen before, so it shows real learning, not memory. Every estimate shows how certain it is.

  • Skills tracked over time
  • Your games before and after training, side by side
  • No inflated scores: ranges show the uncertainty

Fair, honest and private

  • Strictly post-game

This product never assists with games in progress on any chess site. Only finished games are analyzed.

  • Checked, not guessed

Verdicts come from Stockfish, a leading open-source chess engine. The coach's answers are checked against it before you see them.

  • Your data stays yours

Download everything or delete your account at any time. Your games are never used to train models for anyone else.

  • Honest numbers

Estimates show their uncertainty, and newer features are marked experimental until they are proven.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes, there is a free plan with quick reviews, training and the coach within daily limits. Paid plans add deep reviews and practice games, and you see the price before paying.

Which games can I bring?

Finished games from your Lichess or Chess.com account, or from any PGN file.

Is this cheating?

No. The coach only looks at finished games and never helps with a game that is still being played, on any site.

Do I need to understand chess engines?

No. Every verdict comes with a plain explanation. The numbers are there if you want them, tucked away if you don't.

What happens with my games when I use the AI coach?

The AI coach is used only if you allow it in settings. Then your question and the checked facts about the position are sent to the AI provider. Without permission, a simple offline coach answers.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can download everything linked to your account, or delete the account with all its games, at any time from settings.
